BIO - Oscar Furtado

Oscar Furtado has been in the music industry since 2002 and has worked closely with local and international artists.

He made his start at Nettwerk Records, marketing albums for Sarah McLachlan, Swollen Members, Tiesto, Delirium, The Be Good Tanyas and many others.

Following Nettwerk, Oscar joined Hipjoint Music Group, quickly becoming VP Of Artist Promotions. At Hipjoint, Oscar secured extensive nationwide Canadian radio airplay for Bob Sinclar, Holly McNarland, Katie Melua, Classified, Madeleine Peyroux, soulDecision, Marcy Playground, Suzie McNeil and many others.

Oscar founded Tandemtracks Promotions in 2007 and as Director of National Radio Promotions (Canada), he continues his pursuit to gain National radio airplay working with great artists including Pitbull, Leslie Odom Jr., Shaggy, LP, ZAYN, R3HAB, Carly Rae Jepsen, Run The Jewels, DJ Shadow, Jordan Knight (NKOTB), USS, The Dirty Knobs (Mike Campbell) and many others.
